Tryfan
An earlier start today to make sure we got parked at Lyn Ogwen ready for some fun around Tryfan. Having previously climbed up the North Ridge with Becci, and hating every minute of it, we decided on a more gentle route today. Still plenty of scrambling around at the top, but not so much that it gave me wobbly legs. Perfect.
The weather was amazing and we got some great views up top. The mist set in a bit on our descent so we felt quite smug about our timing. It was a glorious bit of mountain walking / running.
After a quick shower we headed to Llanberis to check out the newly refurbished Pete’s Eats. While it’s lost some of its charm, it still delivered with a pint of tea and an epic brunch.
Did a bit of mooching, had a pint and then popped Ali on a train in Bangor. It’s been an epic couple of days but I might have a slightly slower pace for the next two!
