A walk before Junior parkrun

Blip is the playground before the children fill it. We arrived at Juniors early so I took the opportunity of walking with G around the Prom.  She shared news of her recent flight stocking which, although warm is helping her leg swelling. Good news as it means that she can walk more easily. 

A good catch up with C and A at Mrs Salisbury's - football, family, and generally putting the world to rights. 

Then off to Gig Rowing with a good team who worked together to power round Northey; we saw a seal and negotiated the route past well over 100 cadet sailors from the sailing club. A thoroughly enjoyable row. Back in the Little Ship afterwards P shared news of yesterday's race ... the line start got caught in everyone's rudder; panic to free the tillers left our team out in front.  Good news for the championship. 

Home for a lovely steak dinner and apple and blackberry crumble (see extra). A great day.
