Slightly Different.

I tried a new plan this morning by changing the woofer's walk from the side streets to walking along the sea front - and by 9am, having strolled the boardwalk, I was swimming in the refreshingly cool Aegean in perfectly pleasant temperatures, along with a considerable number of locals and Turkish holidaymakers who do this every day - and now I understand why as by 10.00 the woofer and I were ready to go home and avoid the heat by retreating to my air conditioned bedroom with kindle and coffee. 

I emerged early afternoon to do a brief grocery shop, some house work, and pool time before passing a couple of air conditioned hours with Netflix. Afternoon Amazon delivery of the two comfy Ikea style chairs for the roof terrace turned out to be self assembly - so that's a project for another day. A cooler day. 

By 6.45pm Rufus and I were at Paşa for a beer and a salad for me and a meet and greet other diners for him, but I was so uncomfortably sticky hot, even at this hour, and there were insufficient diners to entertain the boy, so we were back home by 20:00 for a cooling pool dip. At 21.30 there was a lovely surprise half hour video call with Graham and Kat (currently in Colchester). The rest of the evening has passed in my air conditioned lounge with Netflix.
