N.T. Trelissick

We visited another of our favourite places today.  Trelissick has a lovely garden.  The herbaceous borders have clearly enjoyed the warm Summer, but the poor hydrangeas were drooping from the lack of rain.  Ironically today it was mild but showery.  One shower gave us a good excuse for coffee and cake in the cafe.  But it wasn't enough rain to really help the garden.  The "French chateau" in the thumbnail used to be a water tower but is now visitor accommodation.
