The Skippy Girls

The skippy girls first went up around 2002, 30 or so figures that appeared overnight on the corrugated iron fence along from Carriageworks. The girls have been restored from time to time, most recently by the original artist who has signed them r.2 - 2024. I’ll add an old extra of the panel that gave a short history. (It’s gone now.)

I’m alternating longer than average walks one day, lots of flights of stairs the next. Today was flat, warm and sunny.
