Somiedo

We left the coast and headed south into Somiedo Natural Park. We climbed 600m to our new spot for just a couple of nights. As we climbed so did the mercury.. we hit 36c! I don't think my van has seen that since we bought it. 
Thankfully there is a lovely cool river running through the campsite, whole families and dogs were cooling down in the pools. 
I had done no forward planning (outside of booking the campsite) so unfortunately I will not be going on a bear hunt! They are all booked up. I'm sitting here waiting for the moon to rise above the mountains, listening out for dogs, wolves and bears.
