Before the Rain 2

Another helicopter down last night,
and not good news by the sound of it.
Will no doubt find out on Monday,
if it's anybody we know.

Out and about this morning,
picking up various bits and pieces
including the usual coffee and newspaper.
Rain threatened and sure enough
I was loading the roof rack with pipes for the builder
when the heavens opened again.
Soaked to the skin by the time they were lashed down,
in every sense of the word.
