Geocaching along the River Weaver 2

After doing the geocaches along the northern side of the Weaver last week we returned to do the southern section along with a cache and adlab stage on the other side that we missed but which were near the beginning.

Truth be told it wasn't the best geocaching day out we have had. We walked 8 miles but it was too hot and muggy and stretches of the path were overgrown. The blip shows one  of these paths sandwiched between a barbed wire fence and the river. In addition a few of the caches were up banks which involved short, sharp climbs and they completely drained us in the hot weather.

Following on from the geocaching reference here is another 'in the know' reference. If you are a subscriber to the Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode film podcast you will understand.

When I met Paul today he said he had been listening to the podcast on the way in and heard an email from me getting read out.  I sent it a couple of weeks ago and didn't expect it to be included in the programme so had forgotten about it. I'm a vanguardista, LTL and FTE. The great Sanjeev Bhaskar was standing in for Simon and I listened to it when I got home and it was quite a thrill hearing him read out my name. I thought it was a good question and it did spark some discussion.

Is anyone else a subscriber?
