What I've Done

Clint's Crags

I had a 1-2-1 today with an old friend of Emma's. It was lovely to teach someone so full of enthusiasm and so keen to learn.

We started off at Clint's Crags, where we went right through the set-up of his camera, apertures, shutter speeds, ISO and depth of field. Spent the whole morning there practising, before we headed off to Bassenthwaite lake.

This was taken with a 10 stop ND filter, which did allow me a 30 second exposure at ISO 32 @ f11(it was very bright), but that wasn't enough to get the movement in the clouds we were after, so as well as the 10 stop filter, I did a multi exposure of 4 exposures, giving me a total exposure of 2 minutes.
