It was a lovely day for the Tryst Walking Group walk which I was leading today - sunny but not too warm. There was seven of us and the walk proper started at the Boating Station on Loch Faskally. We then cross the aluminum bridge under the A9, walked up the Foss Road to Coronation Bridge and then followed the Tummel to where it meet the Garry. It was at the Linn of Tummel that we spotted this group of white water rafters. We walked passed the bungee jump (and saw a jump) and crossed another small bridge before heading back down the other side of the Garry towards Pitlochry. We stopped outside the Fisheries for lunch before heading home. Six miles in total and an enjoyable outing.
Back at home our garage was (at long last) getting painted - once that's finished tomorrow the only outstanding job is to varnish the top eave so it's same colour as the door. The electrician also came round to discuss wiring for our kitchen. We have chosen one from Wren Kitchens and all going to plan it will be fitted early October.
Choisich mi anns a' choille agus feadh nan abhainn.
