Underside....

This is not the usual view of a shield bug. But this one was above my head, and gave me this unusual viewpoint. This is one of the carnivorous shield bugs!

Our Saturdays are shaping up to be visiting dad in the afternoon at the care home and then the weekly food shop in Leek as we pass by on our way home.

He was a bit grumpy today. That's not surprising as he's developed a chest infection, so wasn't feeling well.
