The harbour (Day 3750)
Off to Stromness again this morning with big plans of what I wanted to get done today. By mid morning I had realised my plan wasn't going to work out the way I had hoped. The customer is keen for me to get the shower tray on the floor rather than on a plinth, which means moving a load of pipework. While sorting one section of pipe I felt one of the pipes moved as if it was disconnected out of sight under the floor.
Finding the pipe meant removing the toilet and taking up a significant amount of floor, but at least I know it won't leak now and I was able to sort out a hot feed for the new basin as well as work out the basin waste run.
I'm very glad the customer is not at home at the moment, so I don't need to worry too much about getting the loo working again.
I had a very brief visit from my beautiful wife who dropped off some rubbish bags for me on her way to the horses.
