Lake swimming

It’s incredibly hot today so we decided to stick by the house and relax in the morning then go to the lake in the afternoon.

Nathaniel had to do a tape for an audition for an advert. He was supposed to play the drums so introduced himself and said as he was on holiday he had to improvise - he used some pans and a plastic bowl, with spoons both wooden and plastic.

#2 daughter got a call from the car repair place. The explained it wasn’t just the EGR valve but it was the injector which had caused the valve issue. No way could they drive home without it being fixed which they did, leaving other jobs to accommodate the tourists. It probably cost less than it would have at home.

The house here has no aircon and is south facing so it was a relief to get into the lake and cool off. German CenterParcs obviously don’t expect such high temperatures. (We’d decided not to go to Italy because of the 40 degrees we had last time - but we did have air con!) Here are the children and #2 daughter in the lake.
