Spotted the flowers on our early morning walk.

Removal men, Simon, Michael and Frank arrived at 9 and threw themselves into packing.  Michael packing in the kitchen asked me to put items on the kitchen table that I didn't want packed.  He was too quick for me and had packed all the forks before I got to them.  So we are eating with spoons.  A story was told that Michael in one removal job had taken off his shoes and packed them with the customer's items and was instructed not to remove his shoes in future.

Simon discovered under some boxes a full box of about 25 jars of honey from my bees over 20 years' ago.  Honey doesn't deteriorate.  I donated a jar to each of the workers and two for bosses Henry and Calum - spelt this way.

Today was just meant to be packing but they'd done the majority and loaded all boxes and items in the garage.  Tomorrow it will be boxes in the house and furniture.  Currently boxes are everywhere in all rooms.  Sitting at the kitchen table is impossible but we were able to sit at the dining table and eat dinner with our spoons.

Cancelled the milk and settled the bill.

It's been a very hot day to be so industrious.

After dinner cycled to a friend's house to leave remaining newspapers for their cat litter.

Now just had a much anticipated cooling shower and sitting in the dark living room.  The removers took the bulbs and shades from the lamp stands leaving only the ceiling light.  So I'm using light from this tablet and a bicycle light. 

After the workers had left at around 4 I took 2 bags of frozen peas to my neighbour across the road and retrieved our house keys.  Donated the spare cardboard to another neighbour for her garden and visited another to return their house keys.

Now sitting in the dark living room after a cooling, much anticipated shower.  The removers took the bulbs and shades from the lamp stands.  I'm using light from my tablet and a bicycle light.  The ceiling light is too bright.

We're certainly getting the house cleared.  It'll be good  to clean when the boxes and furniture have been removed.  

Another 9am start tomorrow.  Pleasant evening everyone.
