Getting prepared

A good day at work today while the girls were at play scheme.  

I did an online order of things I needed for the dog which arrived today. Included in the order was two ceramic bowls.  This is how they arrived.  There was a bit of paper packaging on top of this pile, but nothing around them, no wonder they arrived broken.  They were very good though and arranged an immediate refund when I contacted them.  

I also made arrangements with the dog walker who will take him out on my office days.  The plan is I will be home two days a week, John will work from home one day a week and then the dog walker will help for two days.

I still need to sort out his insurance but I will do that tomorrow when I have all his paperwork.  

I'm flitting between worrying about whether I have rushed into this but then feeling so excited about picking him up.  And I have been desperate to get another dog for so long so its not really rushing into it, its more that now its happening its happening very quickly!
