Riches
Dunno why this picture came out so blurred but I quite like it. Truth be told I actually prefer the original colour version (see extra).
Anyway, up and at it first thing for a decent swim before getting to The Trav for the 10am performance of Nowhere. Quite the show - political, inventive, poignant, really quite a piece of theatre.
And then after coming home for a couple of hours to generally regroup, refuel and do some general life kind of non-festival stuff it was back into the fray to see a quite ridiculous fun/silly/not quite sure what's going on here show with Adam Riches. Great stuff.
Came out of that and wandered round the corner to Blair Street where a Tom Cashman show was about to start so grabbed mesen a space and chuckled along for an hour. Very decent.
As I type Oasis are just running through their closing 'Champagne Supernova' from nearby Murrayfield and it's incredibly loud in my living room. And there go the fireworks too...even louder! Weirdly their set was very quiet earlier when we were sitting outside in the park with our Indian takeaway hoping for a listen. How is that even possible?
Ok, I'm back to work tomorrow, first time for nearly three weeks. This could be a shock to the system. Thankfully only there for two days this week. Phew. Easing back in.
