Peacock
It was choir week at church today and I'd missed the practice on Wednesday so I had only a quick half hour practice this morning before the service. We had a complicated one for during communion which was only a couple of repeated lines but few of us had sang "O taste and see" before. Thankfully the choir leader had to sing the first line solo so that saved us doing all of it.
In the afternoon I felt out of sorts. The Man urged me to go out and get a blip. I was glad I did. I felt much better after sitting in my egg chair watching the butterflies on the patio buddleia.
It was a hard choice between small whites, green-veined whites, small tortoiseshells, red admirals and this single peacock. After my moorhen blip last week, I know someone will wonder why there are no peahen butterflies!
I'm surprised the one in Extras could fly, poor thing!
