Away Day

Over the last six months I spent Tuesdays at the Vounder Therapy Garden which meant no Fisgard Association ‘Pie & Pint’ in Plymouth so I’d been looking forward to today.
9:20 train from Falmouth with friends Peter and John arriving Plymouth a couple of hours later then the bus and a leisurely stroll to the pub. Plenty of pints today but no pie, instead a buffet which was ok but not really ‘our thing’.
Always good to catch up with fellow Artificers, we cover a lot of intakes spread over a lot of years. The afternoon shot by and before long it was time for the three of us to start off for the station and the return journey.
The inevitable ‘pit stop’ at another pub meant the later train, later home and dinner on a plate keeping warm.

Already looking forward to the first Tuesday in September.
