Burn!

We went to the Strathaven Balloon Festival tonight. We watched three balloons take off from Strathaven park and when it was obvious that the fun was over for the night, we headed for home. On the way home we spotted this one near Quarter. Had to wait quite some time for the burner to be switched on to give a bit of warmth to the otherwise quite cool landscape. Finally they did switch on the burner and I got the shot.

Had thought that we might go back tomorrow night, but the midges were fearsome, so maybe not.

Becoming a bit pissed off with Blipfoto not publishing my photos when I jump through all their hoops. It's a great idea, but not very well implemented. I think we need better coders. Here goes for version 2 of this photo which should have been uploaded last night.
