TRIO

The most important trio I can think of in this heatwave is a combination of these three items:
- a fan
- a face and neck spray
- frequent mugs of iced lemon water

The fan and the face spray are always in my bag when I go out. The  iced water goes with me wherever I go and in a thermos bottle when I go out.
At home, I also have a Dyson cooler in the bedroom (20 cm from the bed) and in the living room a fan!

The excessive heat is on everyone's mind right now. Yesterday it was 35C which felt like 38 because of the high humidity. Today our maximum temperature will be similar. One day at a time and protecting ourselves as best we can!

My early morning walk was already fairly hot and heavy and I had to walk slower than usual, but still came home with wet hair.

I received a thoughtful WhatsApp message from my son with an article and little note where he said: "Protect yourself!" The only time when he has to be out in the heat is when he walks to work and back which takes 17 minutes there and back. The rest of the time he is in air conditioning!
