Tall small Sunflower is nearly fully open.
The Feast Day of Saint Pontian and Saint Hippolytus.Martyrs.
I have been as quiet and still as possible because it is sweltering.
It is 1:35 pm and 27.3c in the living room. The fan is a God send.
Holly our dear Tabby cat has decided to sit in the greenhouse on the cool concrete floor.
Hunter has gone over the fence, to explore beyond the garden. He returned for his afternoon cat biscuits. He has good timing for meal times.
Jasper visited breakfast time and ate a sachet of Sheba cat food. He was very warm and he went home soon after his meal.
I watered most of the garden in the morning.
I have done washing and some of it dried fast on the clothes line.
Ironing it would be not sensible in the great warmth.
The sunflower in the picture has shown a wonderful perseverance and lived long enough to display a lovely deep yellow flower.
It is awesome how a small sunflower seed can grow a marvellously tall flower.
I will read quietly until we watch Escape to the Country.
I hope you have a peaceful enjoyable Wednesday.
Thank you for your kind comments blip friends.
