Double Trouble
It’s a sea day today as we travel across the North Sea back to Port of Tyne, arriving there early tomorrow.
Being a sea day we were kept busy, starting off with a hot stones massage followed by a head, neck and shoulders one, which was certainly a relaxed way to start the day.
Later on, we had our Lingo zoom audition with Kassia, who seemed to like us. Anyway, she now puts together a casting tape to show to the producers, who then decide if we are any good, and if so, we end up on telly (I have the joys of the 1% Club coming up at the end of the month too … eek!).
Today’s blip is another ‘Theatre at Sea’ production, this time called ‘Double Trouble’. It’s set in the cold war era of 1958 and involves Americans, Russians, and British spies. It’s all very John Le Carrie, except that the chief spy is called George Cheery. It was much enjoyed by the full house and honestly, it’s as good as anything we have seen at The Playhouse in Edinburgh or London’s West End.
Now packed and sitting out on the balcony enjoying the sunny and warm North Sea (who would have thought that was possible.
I hope you have enjoyed today.
