Into the west

We ran away to sea today. The AM’s favourite thing.

Only as far as Belfast Lough, though, and if you travel in a westerly direction you’re bound to hit Belfast!

I had to cancel six (yes, dear readers, six) social engagements to allow myself to be carried off by the piratical AM for a few days. I don’t mind being carried off to Belfast as I love it!

My lovely friend mrshb70 has directed us to a tour of the Titanic Distillery, so we’re aiming to do that tomorrow. I also would like a wee tootle around the shops, but we’ll have to see how much landlubber-type activity the AM is up for!

The only thing of sad note is that they’ve built three huge apartment blocks between Belfast Marina and the Titanic Museum and Titanic hotel. You can’t see the beautiful, iconic Titanic museum from here any more! I’m a bit sad about that.
