Feeling Hot Hot Hot!

35C yes the heatwave has arrived. 
This song of 1982 reminds me of summer holidays with the boys in the Balearics.

Today we had arranged to meet up with my cousin and his wife for lunch at The Boathouse Inn, Saltaire.
We met at Hirst Lock carpark and walked along the Leeds Liverpool Canal to Dowley Gap Bridge.

Then returned to Hirst Locks and on to Saltaire. 
A bit cooler under the trees and always feels cool walking by the water.

A mediocre meal. However we had such an enjoyable time and catchup as haven't seen them for several months.
Afterwards we walked up to Baildon to see his allotment. Got some good ideas to pass on to Rhys, and came back with a large bowl of tomatoes and bunch of grapes. ( see extra)

Back home had a shower and now cooling down.
Fortunately our house is nice and cool inside.

A very enjoyable day and have arranged to meet up again in the not too distant future. 

Love sunshine but dare I say that today has been too hot!
