A milestone birthday.

Our younger son turned thirty today. My wife made a cake; a coffee one, his request. It was lovely.

He and his partner came to our place for the afternoon, gifts well received.

We met up with the wee family at a good Italian restaurant and had a nice birthday meal. The grandchildren were on good form.

We all ended up back at our younger son and partner’s house for coffee. Our older grandson had fun with birthday balloons.
