Baby Robin No1

There are two young robins living in the garden, the second one has more red feathers.

Last night was worse than I feared. At 1.30am had to call ambulance, paramedics stayed 2hrs, they consulted out of hours doc, decided to keep him at home rather than put him through A&E. Was up 3x in night, helping Dad, I got 3¾hrs sleep.

Today he has slept ALL day. Hospital at Home doc came out, RUH consultant. HaH physio came out. HaH nurse came out. Blood tests revealed infection, back on antibiotics. Discussed various options of extra help including overnight sitter, £250 a night! Am in complete quandary as to best way forward. Noone can say if this is the new normal base line or if he will pick up. He hasn't been the same since he had that fall a week ago...

Thankfully not so hot today, 27 degrees and overcast, which made a big difference.
