St Cuthberts Way part 6

Who thought today would a good one for a walk up a hill? It was either me, or MrKT. Anyway, hot and sunny we headed off out of Morebattle south for another section of the Way. We crossed the mid point of St Cuthberts Way and also the highest point. But there was no stopping to admire the view or take a photo as a huge cloud of flies was chasing us off the hill.
We finished at Kirk Yetholm where we had left our bikes. After sitting for a while to recover it was in to the bikes to head back to the campervan. Luckily we got distracted by a campsite and MrKT continued on to collect the van while I investigated the site it did look very nice but an email from the guests staying at our house gave us a change of plan and we headed home. Guests had already left - but the Aga had gone out - always a bad sign (although it did mean the kitchen wasn’t too hot!).So a job for Mr KT.
