Farewell Eryri

Packed up this morning and rather sadly left the little cottage, after a nice (first) breakfast overlooking the mountains.

Met up with the Oxford Moores in Llanberis and ran around Llyn Pedarn with Ruth, enjoying a nice bit of trail and some wonderful views over Yr Wyddfa.

Breakfasted (again) with the rest of the extended Oxford contingent at the very cool Caban Caffi - a new find for all of us, despite being open for 25 years. They sat and fed all 14 of us effortlessly and the food was great.

A final little wander around Llanberis before making my way home. It’s been an epic few days away and I’ve been utterly delighted that my calves have held out. I don’t think I’ll ever take running for granted again.

The bonus in getting home to 30° heat was getting my PE kit washed and dried already.
