Petiscos

Following last night’s festivities, some of us went out to eat petiscos (snacks) at a lunch spot with buffet offerings. I chose sopa de carne de vaca (beef soup) as it was the most palatable looking.

I slunk away for the rest of the afternoon to work on some slides for a presentation I’m giving tomorrow. I chose a table in the tranquil atmosphere of FEIMA - Feira de Artesanato, Flores e Gastronomia de Maputo (Maputo Crafts, Flowers and Food Fair), which I haven’t been to for many a long while. I tinkered on my laptop for a few hours until I was satisfied that my offering the following day would be acceptable.

On my walks I always pass this vegetable garden in the grounds of a seminary.
