Exhibition in the Cathedral
Visited Lichfield again today, to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition being held in the Cathedral. In previous years I can remember visiting such exhibitions at museums and paying to get in, but other than for a donation, this was free. Perhaps the presentation was a little simpler, most images were simply mounted and hung around the aisles either side of the nave. There were still some stunning images to view.
It was another hot day so it was a pleasure to be in the relatively cool surroundings of the building. Afterwards we went to the Ego Restaurant for lunch.
No astrophotography tonight. Despite the forecast there were persistent high clouds blocking much of the sky.
