Blackberries

Early walk before it got too hot, then today not done a great deal it has been far too hot it was 31c at lunchtime 88f and I am sure it got hotter as the day wore on. 

I did some washing, and other small jobs but mostly indoors as it was just too much outdoors

This morning Misty was sat on the doorstep waiting to be let in when Paula went down for a cuppa at 4am. Tonight she was waiting to come in at 10.15pm maybe she has learnt that when we have closed the door we might not be coming back for a long time (we left it open last night until bedtime, we closed it at 9 tonight)

It's going to be another hot night, I have been sleeping on top of the sheets with the fan on all night just rotating blowing cool air across me

It's getting very bad with the reservoirs so very low, some with hardly any water in, and no sight  of rain until back end of next week.

Sad about the fires raging on the North Yorkshire Moors, I feel sorry for those firefighters. It's such a beauty spot too.

Thats it for now, lets see if we can sleep in this heat
