Work in progress

The smaller box at the top shows strips of colour film captured frame by frame, being work completed. In the larger box below are around 100 more strips of colour negatives or transparencies still to be scanned.

I am scanning and storing digitally in high resolution every image. Then placing it on the correct hard drive in its correct year and event folder.

You may ask why am I doing this now. The archive box of photography goes back to 1988 and represents much of the work shot for me by my assistant photographer Clive over the past 40 years. When he passed away, his executor returned this photography to me for my own archives.

Back at the time we had prints made and I would take the ones that I wanted at the time for promotion of our videos. I never bothered to chase up the return of the negatives. Now I am finding many wonderful photos that I did not know about, or recall ever seeing before. 

I had been putting off this massive job, but 2 weeks ago I decided it was time to do it now.
