Millennium Centre

Packed up the house and loaded the car; up the M5 - not too bad but queues through Bristol and to Gloucester. Met daughter's boyfriend in his big truck and unloaded all the luggage then returned the hire car. Out on some narrow roads and then over Severn Bridge and usual snarl up near Newport. To Cardiff. Found a car park eventually that the vehicle could fit in, and then a late lunch. Hot day. Wandered into the city centre and some good shops. Castle looking good in the sun. Back to the bay area. Millennium Centre looking impressive and checked into the hotel. Son was off to see a film at the IMAX. Wandered out to the Roald Dahl bench. A meal at Cosy Club, then wandered along the bay. At night the Millennium Centre was all lit up too. An interesting city area.
