It was a very hot night. August 14, 2025.

Last night it was very warm and didn't cool down.
I read in bed for a while and luckily fell asleep.
Unusually, I slept by the open window.
Normally, I have it tilted, but that was much too stuffy.
So I left it open. Luckily, I have the woods as a neighbor across the street.
The photo was taken in the middle of the night. The light you see is the streetlight.
Today it's cloudy and sweltering and stuffy.
I'm going to Bible study tonight, which is perfect because we're holding it in a converted basement.
That's also where we hold our church service twice a month.
