Through the Leaves
The blue tit fledglings are growing up nicely and now prefer to hide rather than show themselves. I did manage to get this photo through the leaves in my snowball tree, which made a nice effect. After my Sainsbury's delivery first thing, I volunteered for a couple of hours until a second staff member came in - just long enough to top up the book shelves and do a bit of tidying in the book cupboard. There was a burst water main in town (not the high street thankfully) which meant that the shop had no water at one point, then it returned with low pressure. Evidently it should be fixed by 9pm tonight. Budgens was selling lots of bottled water!!! I then drove to Cley for a talk with lunch which was very good about the birds, butterflies and animals we should be able to see in North Norfolk, where and at what time of year. Another hot day around 26C and humid, it felt oppressively hot in the talk.
