Shady spaces

At lunch time we kept to the shady spaces walking over to Chidham  as a hot sun trickled through the trees.  We had booked a table indoors for lunch today at the pub/restaurant, given even hardened sun lovers like us found it a tad too muggy and oppressive outdoors. We toasted M's 72nd birthday.

Tea and cake with the grandies later.

- Joni enjoyed a cool siesta this afternoon with the fan on full blast.  Everytime she bites her toy duck's head it squeals. She thinks that's funny.
