Brave girl

Our neighbour above us got a little Chihuahua two years ago. And the dog has not come near us, being terrified. However, we have always spoken to her at a safe distance for her so she can get used to us. 
Today we met the dog with her humans in the park behind our house, and the dog came running towards us happily wagging her tail. 
We cautiously reached down our hands so she could sniff them. And that was all she tolerated, but what a success. Soon I might be able to pet her. 
What a brave little dog.
