The walk with Fi and Rich had been cancelled on Tuesday due to Fi's forgotten hospital appointment, but was moved to today. I got to theirs at 9.30am as arranged, but they were still having breakfast!
The walk in the Staffordshire Moorlands from the village of Waterhouses was a good one... but I can say this now that were not trying to navigate paths that had been diverted, were invisible, had bullocks in a very confined space, numerous patches of nettles and thistles (see extra) and rotten stiles and footbridges. The animal count was impressive too, cows, bullocks, a donkey, sheep, geese and two lots of slightly annoyed farm dogs. Great company though!
