So Dry

Very humid and warm this morning. Then storm clouds started gathering and rising north and west of us this afternoon. It’s almost 3pm and it’s now thundering. Rain is coming!!! Fingers crossed it isn’t torrential or brief, but it’s the first we’ve had in weeks • The Kennebec is a tidal river so we’re used to seeing it at low tide but this is the first time we’ve ever seen the bottom of the river from this view in Hallowell today. With the exception of today’s storm, dry conditions look to continue over the next ten days • Peace, Love & Purrs
