Deadheading.

After two weeks away, when we got home our house felt very small after Hayley’s family house. Not complaining…… just saying!

Plenty of deadheading needed doing round our parched garden. The sunflower has shot up and sprouted several new blooms.

‘A’ level results day today. Hayley was stressing about them all day yesterday. She was up early to get to the school. Came back gutted. Although the results weren’t bad, they were not what she’d hoped for for some of her amazing pupils. Made me realise how we don’t think about how the exam results affect the teachers almost as much as the students. She actually cried when we left (and we are seeing her in a week). She invests so much into her pupils.
