Woohoo!

We were all waiting for A level results to appear at 8am with bated breath and all breathed a sigh of relief when they came through. Leo needed BBB to get into Exeter and managed AAB so that is fabulous news and his place is now confirmed.

He is going to wait and see what accommodation he gets offered and then decide whether to take that up or commute in from home and save some money.  It is an easy journey in and since I will be going in too we may find our timings coincide - although not sure he will like my early starts!

If he gets offered something he doesn’t like the look of that will be an easy decision but if gets offered the place he selected then he will have to weigh up campus life v home life.  Pros and cons to both so we will see what he decides later.  I think he has to wait about a week before all the accommodation offers come out.

I had flexi’d the day off from work so I was ready to celebrate or help with Plan B.  It was nice to spend the day celebrating!  We ate out at Bella Italia who were doing free starters and desserts if you showed up with your A level results.  There were lots of tables with families all doing the same thing and Leo recognised several from his College.

It felt like a Friday so I will be all discombobulated tomorrow when I head back into work for the day,  

So it has been a lovely day and we are all super proud of the boy.
