Driving Range

I was happy to find this Driving Range at Hamersley after realising that the Wembley Golf Club has temporarily closed for renovations.  I'm now on a mission to be able to hit a half decent ball again after putting my name down for our Old Girls golf day in late September.  With the recent moving adventure and my eye ops earlier in the year, I realised I hadn't lifted a club since November last year when we played in New Zealand.  The set up at the range is wonderful and they very kindly have another ball pop up on a tee for you after you've hit your shot.  There's even a computer screen behind you that tells you all about the shot you've just hit.  I have to admit today's effort was pretty ugly to start with but there were some encouraging signs towards the end of the session.  I was surrounded by young aspiring golfers and one in particular was very supportive.  I may have to put a callout to Doyley and Ninniex before the big day though and see if they can put me through my paces :)
