Tomato Hornworm

Imagine my surprise when I almost picked this creature with the cherry tomatoes that I was gathering for dinner.  That is a big honking garden pest, and, I admit it, occasioned quite a bloodcurdling scream when I realized what I was looking at. I hope there was only one, but I will be more wary next time.
