Girl’s Night

I have such amazing women in my life. The summer has been so busy that we haven’t spent much time together, so on a bit of a spontaneous whim, I invited them (all 17 of them!) over to my house for an impromptu happy hour tonight. Eight of us gathered - the rest were on vacation or had other plans, so it was a really nice sized group. We sat on my back deck and drank wine and ate nibbles and caught up with each other - a very fine time!

After they left I tidied up and brought all of the outdoor cushions inside since it’s going to rain tonight and tomorrow, and then settled down to eat the rest of last night’s Greek salad, along with a glass of wine, water, candlelight, and my neighbor’s gorgeous dahlias!
