REMEMBERING V J DAY !
This was a really respectful service of memorial of this cruel war , never to be forgotten. In 1987 my husband & I were privileged to visit the Burma Railway & exhibition showing photographs of the prisoners building with their bare hands this structure, & the cruelty metered out by the captives . It was a tearful experience for the visitors but I must say the war graves were tended beautifully but again a very tearful sight.
My L. G. H.has just left after giving me 1 & a half hours.
A left at 10.15am , he was worried that he may have left his credit card there ( or lost it!) however the store had found it, he was thankful about that
I was up every 3/4 of an hour last night so again I’m. rather fragile , as I’ve said so many times , tomorrow is another day. It quite warm today again which just adds to tiredness.
DO HOPE YOU’VE ALL HAD A BRILLIANT DAY
