BVM

Today is the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and if there is one thing the Irish like it is to have shrines in almost every village.
Sometime ago I had to throw out a picture of Mary (broken and covered in damp) and in true spirit of a catholic upbringing I have felt guilty everytime I see these statues.
I spoke to MrRR the younger this morning and it seems that all his wedding plans are coming together nicely.
