With a hot sunny day forecast I was out early for a blip wander. Again it was the circular via the park.

Walking back I spotted a man carrying an A board and noticed it had Lanty Slee’s* written on it. I crossed the road and looked back to see that the former cafe/wine bar next to the Walnut chippy is now a ‘smoke and steak house and cocktail bar’. Another change that’s taken me a while to spot.

After lunch I had a snooze (and that was after 9 hours sleep in the night) so think I’ve caught up on what I missed the previous day.

* I recognised the name as they have two premises in the Langdale valley.
