A Grand Day Out....

.... in Bristol on the Gromit Unleashed Trail!

Well, I finally got round to hunting down the Gromits dotted all over Bristol, a great day out with friends, along with what felt like half of the world!! Gromit has certainly been a crowd-pulling tourist attraction for Bristol.

We managed to find 24 in 5 hours, not bad going! A difficult choice, but I think this was my favourite, "Newfoundland". He stands aboard The Matthew, a replica of the English ship that, sailed by John Cabot in 1497 from Bristol, discovered Newfoundland and North America.
