Red Windsor apples

The crop is just about ready as a quick tasting  revealed . It's quite versatile either as an eating apple or cooked in tarts etc. I think many will end up in the freezer as everyone  around has also good crops.
A hot day with the brisk wind also feeling warm so one of those rare nights in this neck of the woods for sitting out whereas normally a chill descends as the sun sets.
