Work of Art

Up and away early o’clock for the 3 hour drive down to Sunderland. I used to do this run regularly 5 years ago in the old role and stopped off at the ‘usual’ haunt at Cornhill (just across the border) for a bacon roll!

Spent most of the day at our production facility/office getting a new laptop and having a 1-1 meeting with old and new boss.

Wrapped mid afternoon and headed the long distance (under 1 mile) to the Riverside Bowling alley as still had my ball and shoes in the car from the weekend.

Played 6 games then off to the hotel in Newcastle. Went for a walk to Jesmond Dene to scope out tomorrow’s parkrun (where I am running then volunteering to help out barcode scanning).

Back to the hotel for dinner and a couple of pints.
